This black Vic HV 9.5 PPS hockey stick was game used by Zdeno Chara while playing for the New York Islanders or Ottawa Senators. The New York Islanders selected Chara in the 3rd round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. This towering 6’ 9” defenseman began his NHL career with the Islanders in 1997-98. After 4 years in New York and 3 more with Ottawa, Chara found a home in Boston where he has spent the past 9 seasons. During that time Chara became Captain of the Bruins, hoisted the Stanley Cup and won the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman. Chara has played in 6 NHL All Star games and was 7 times selected a 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star.

This black Vic hockey stick has the player name “Chara” stamped to the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade.
