This maroon Nike hockey stick was game used by Vincent Lecavalier while playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lecavalier was the #1 overall selection in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He had spent his entire 14-year career with the Tampa Bay Lightning, before signing with the Philadelphia Flyers prior to the 2013-14 NHL season. Vincent has scored 403 goals and 911 points thru the end of the 2012-13 season. He was the winner of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard trophy in 2006-07 as the league’s leading goal scorer with 52.
In 2007-08 he won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community. Lecavalier has a 2nd Team NHL All Star selection to his credit and has played in a handful of NHL All Star games. On the international stage, Vincent has represented Team Canada in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and the 2006 Olympics. Lecavalier’s most important career accomplishment came during the 2003-04 playoff march, it was during that playoff run that the Lightning captured their first and only Stanley Cup championship to date.
This maroon Nike hockey stick has the player name “Lecavalier” stamped on the side of the blade. The stick is fully taped on the butt. The blade tape has been removed so Vincent could autograph it. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
