This white-sided Canadian Fiberglass hockey stick was game used by Ulf Nilsson while playing for the Winnipeg Jets. Swedish born, Nilsson came to North America after playing 7 seasons in the Swedish Leagues. He joined the WHA Winnipeg Jets in 1974-75 and played 4 seasons with Bobby Hull & Co., winning 2 Avco Cups in the process. Nilsson then played parts of 4 seasons in the NHL with the New York Rangers. Nilsson was a major star in the WHA, scoring over 110 Points in every season he played with a career high 126 Points in 1977-78. He was twice a First Team WHA All Star and once a Second Team WHA All Star and the playoff MVP in 1976. He played in the Canada Cup in 1976 & 1981 and in the Challenge Cup in 1979. He was the WHA all-time leader in assists per game and 1.15.
