Tony Tanti Vancouver Canucks Black Sher-Wood Game Used Stick

This black Sher-Wood PMP 7030 hockey stick was game used by Tony Tanti while playing for the Vancouver Canucks. Tanti was the 12th overall pick in the 1981 NHL entry draft by the Blackhawks who would soon after deal him to the Vancouver Canucks. Tony would spend the next 8 seasons playing in the Great Northwest where he established himself as one of the NHL’s highest scoring Left Wingers and playing in the 1986 NHL All Star Game. In successive seasons his goal totals read an impressive 45, 39, 39, 41 and 40 despite missing games in all 5 of those years. Parts of 2 years in Pittsburgh and Buffalo followed before Tony left the NHL to spend 6 successful high scoring seasons in Germany before retiring.

This black Sher-Wood stick has the player name and number “Tanti 9” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
