Teppo Numminen Phoenix Coyotes Red & Green CCM Game Worn Gloves Autographed

These red and green CCM hockey gloves were game worn by Teppo Numminen while playing for the Phoenix Coyotes. The Winnipeg Jets selected Numminen in the 2nd round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. After spending several years playing in the SM-liiga, this native of Tampere, Finland began his NHL career with Winnipeg in 1988-89. Teppo would spend 8 seasons with the Jets and then transferred with the franchise to Phoenix where he played for the next 7 seasons. Numminen would then spend a year in Dallas and 4 more with Buffalo before retiring. All told he spent 15 seasons playing for the Jets/Coyotes franchise and retired as their record holder for games played and points for a defenseman. In 2010, a year after retiring, the Coyotes paid tribute to Teppo by retiring his number 27. Numminen was a 3-time NHL All Star who represented Finland in the World Championships, 2 Canada Cups, 2 World Cups and 4 Olympics!
