Steve Yzerman Detroit Red Wings Green Checked Easton Game Used Stick
Lot #390
This checked pattern Easton T-Flex hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman. The Detroit Red Wings selected Yzerman with the 4th overall pick in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Yzerman is widely regarded as one of the greatest Captain’s in NHL history as well as one of hockey’s all-time great players. His tremendous grit and ability led the Red Wings to 3 Stanley Cup Championships during his illustrious career.

In a career that spanned 22 seasons, all while wearing the “Winged Wheel”, Yzerman put up tremendous career numbers, scoring 692 goals, 1063 assists and 1755 points. These totals place him in the top 10 all-time in all 3 categories. His playoff statistics are equally as impressive. Steve scored 70 playoff goals, 115 playoff assists and 185 playoff points. Each of these numbers ranks him in the top 15 all-time. In addition to his 3 Stanley Cups, Steve has also won a Lester B. Pearson trophy as the NHL’s outstanding player, a Conn Smythe trophy as playoff MVP, a Frank J. Selke trophy as the leagues best defensive forward, a Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy and a Lester B. Patrick Trophy. Yzerman netted 50 goals five different times during his career. In fact he had a span of six consecutive seasons beginning in 1987-88, where he scored 50, 65, 62, 51, 45 and 58 goals; quite impressive! The 1988-89 season saw Yzerman set career highs with 65 goals, 90 assists and 155 points, an epic year indeed. ‘Stevie Y’ played in 10 NHL All Star games and represented Team Canada in the 1984 Canada Cup, the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the 1998 and 2002 Olympics. In the years to come this legendary Hall of Famer will be fondly remembered by us as one of the best and classiest we’ve ever seen take to the ice.

This checked pattern Easton hockey stick has the player name “Yzerman” on the side of the blade. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
