This blue hockey helmet by Mission was game worn by defenseman Steve Staios while playing for the Edmonton Oilers on Mark Messier night February 27, 2007. Staios broke into the NHL in 1995-96 with the Boston Bruins where he played for 2 seasons. Steve next headed northwest and took up residence in Vancouver. He remained with the Canucks for 2+ years before spending 2 seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers. In 2001, Staios joined the Oilers where he skated for 8 seasons, before a deadline deal sent him to Calgary late in the 2009-10 season. Following 1+ year in Calgary and the 2011-12 season on Long Island, Staios called it a career with over 1000 games of NHL service to go along with 1322 PIMS.

This blue Mission helmet has the player number “24” on the back. The Oilers logo is on both sides The helmet will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter signed by Kevin Lowe.
