Steve Larmer Blackhawks Sher-Wood Game Used Stick
Lot #429
This stick comes directly from the recently discovered Gunzo's collection. This Sher-Wood PMP 5030 hockey stick was game used by Steve Larmer while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blackhawks drafted Larmer in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. As a rookie in 1982-83 he would capture the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s rookie of the year thanks to a 43-goal and 90-point effort, while going an impressive +44. Larmer spent 13 years all told wearing the Chief Indian Head crest and admirably representing the city of Chicago. His final 2 years in the NHL were spent with the New York Rangers, where in 1993-94, he won his only Stanley Cup. In 1006 career games Larmer netted 441 goals and 1012 points. He had five different 40+ goal seasons during his career and played in 2 NHL All Star games. On the international stage Larmer played for Team Canada in the 1991 Canada Cup and potted 6-goals and 11-points in 8 games of action.

This Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number "Larmer 28" on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade.
