Sidney Crosby Pittsburgh Penguins Autographed 100th Point Scoresheet and Rookie Ticket Display
Lot #555
This display, measuring 14 x 19, shows the score sheet and ticket stub from the night Sidney Crosby scored his 100th point in his rookie season. The scoresheet, dated April 17, 2006 is from the game against the New York Islanders in which Sidney registered 3 assists. The scoresheet has been personally signed by Sidney in black sharpie.

Crosby was the 1st overall draft pick in the 2005 NHL entry draft and joined the Penguins immediately thereafter. He has taken the NHL by storm with his adept scoring and playmaking abilities. In his rookie season Crosby finished 6th in the NHL in scoring with 102 points. In his 2nd season, Sid won the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading scorer, as well as both league MVP awards, the Hart Trophy and the Lester B. Pearson Trophy. Year 3 saw Crosby take the Penguins captaincy and lead his Penguins to the Stanley Cup Finals in what was an unsuccessful bid for the Stanley Cup. However, revenge would come in his 4th season, as a Finals rematch occurred and the Penguins defeated Detroit for the greatest title in sports, as Crosby became the youngest captain to with the Stanley Cup.

During the 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs, Crosby scored 31 points in his team’s 24 games played. This followed a regular season that again saw him surpass the 100-point plateau. The 2009-10 season was a monumental one for Crosby. In perhaps the greatest international game of the modern era, Sid led Team Canada over Team USA to capture the Gold Medal with an overtime goal to cap off a storybook ending to the 2010 Winter Olympics. In addition, Crosby smashed his own personal highs for goals in a season with 51, two of them coming on the seasons final day to tie for the Rocket Richard Trophy for most goals scored in the league. Sidney also rang up the 4th 100-point season of his career. After a few injury ridden seasons, Sid came back strong in 2012-13 scoring 56 points in only 36 games played.
