Description
Sergei Nemchinov New Jersey Devils Sher-Wood Game Used Stick
Lot #687
This Sher-Wood PMP 7000 hockey stick was game used by Sergei Nemchinov while playing for the New Jersey Devils. The New York Rangers selected Nemchinov in the 12th round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. This Moscow native made his NHL debut with the Rangers in 1991-92 after spending 10 years playing in Russia. Nemchinov spent 6 seasons with the Rangers and became forever part of their history, as they captured the Stanley Cup in 1994 after one of the longest droughts in sports history.

Following his time with the Rangers, Sergei spent half a dozen games in Vancouver before returning to the major metropolitan area as a New York Islander. After 2 seasons on the Island, Sergei went across the Hudson and became a member of the New Jersey Devils for parts of 4 seasons. Brought to New Jersey for his veteran leadership, Sergei helped lead his team to back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals and walked away with his 2nd Stanley Cup ring. Sergei spent his last 2 seasons of professional hockey in Russia playing for Lokomotiv and retired following the 2003-04 campaign.

This Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number “Nemchinov 12” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
