Description
Sean Avery Cincinnati Might Ducks Bauer Game Worn Helmet
Lot #634
This purple hockey helmet by Bauer was game worn by Sean Avery while playing for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in the AHL. Avery is an undrafted winger who put in 13 years of service to the NHL. He began his NHL career in 2002-03 with the Red Wings and was an NHL regular ever since, skating for the Wings, Kings, Stars and Rangers. He accumulated 1533 PIMS in only 580 NHL games and has the distinction of having a rule named on his behalf. “The Avery Rule” came about after Avery’s constant annoyance and screening of New Jersey Devils goalie Martin Broduer during the 2007-08 Stanley Cup playoffs.

This purple Bauer helmet has the player number “8” on back. The Might Ducks logo is on both sides. The is a red, white and blue ribbon on the back left opposite the AHL logo.
