These black hockey gloves by Bauer where game worn by Hall of Famer Scott Niedermayer while playing for the Anaheim Ducks. The New Jersey Devils selected Niedermayer with the 3rd overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Niedermayer recently retired after an 18-year NHL career that saw him win 4 Stanley Cups and 2 Olympic Gold Medals. Scott spent his first 13 years in New Jersey, where he won 3 of his 4 Stanley Cups, the last one coming with Anaheim where he spent the last 5 years of his career. Scott was 4 times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star and played in 5 NHL All Star games. He captured the 2007 Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in Anaheim and won the 2004 Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman in his last season in New Jersey. In 1263 games, Niedermayer netted 172 goals and 740 points. On the international stage, Niedermayer represented Team Canada in the World Championships, two World Cups of Hockey and two Olympics. A well-deserved spot in the Hall of Fame was recently bestowed upon this classy defenseman.

These black Bauer gloves have the player name “S. Niedermayer” stitched on the cuff. Scott has autographed both gloves on the cuff in silver sharpie.
