Description
Ryan Miller Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Pants - Photo Match
Lot #733

These blue and gold hockey pants by Reebok were game worn by Ryan Miller while playing for the Buffalo Sabres. Miller spent 3 seasons at Michigan State University where he won numerous accolades including the Hobey Baker Award prior to joining the Buffalo Sabres in 2002-03. In 2005-06 Miller took over the starting role for the Sabres and hasn’t looked back. To his credit is the Vezina Trophy as leagues top netminder and s 1st Team NHL All Star selection along with an NHL All Star game appearance. Ryan backstopped Team USA to a 1.35 GAA in the 2010 Olympics, going 5-1, and falling in overtime to Team Canada in the Gold Medal game, thus walking away with Silver Medal. So spectacular was Miller’s performance that he was awarded the Olympic Tournament MVP Award. Ryan also pocketed a spot on the Olympic Tournament All Star team and was named best Goaltender during the Olympics. Team USA appears to be in good hands in the years to come.

These blue and gold Reebok hockey pants have the player name and year “Miller 09-10” in marker on the top edge. The split and subsequent repair is photo matched to Getty Images #97959668 from a game against the Florida Panthers on March 20, 2010.
