Russ Courtnall Montreal Canadiens Game Used Stick

This Sher-Wood PMP 7030 hockey stick was game used by Russ Courtnall while playing for the Montreal Canadiens. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Courtnall with the 7th overall pick in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Russ made his NHL debut with the Leafs in 1983-84 and skated in Toronto for parts of 6 seasons before joining the Montreal Canadiens in 1988-89. Following 4 years with Montreal, Courtnall joined the Minnesota North Stars in 1992-93 and relocated with the franchise to Dallas where he played another couple of seasons. Russ finished up his career with stops in Vancouver, the Rangers and Kings. All told this winger played in 1029 games over the course of 16 seasons. He netted a career best 36 goals with Minnesota in 1992-93 and ended his career just shy of 300 goals and 750 points.

This Sher-Wood stick has the player name and number “Courtnall 6” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
