Description
Ron Stackhouse Pittsburgh Penguins Koho Game Used Stick
Lot #612

This Koho 221 Custom Pro hockey stick was game used by Ron Stackhouse while playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Oakland Seals selected Stackhouse 18th overall in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. He began his NHL career in 1970-71 with the California Golden Seals and spent just more than a year with the club before he joined the Detroit Red Wings early in 1971-72. After 2 and a half seasons in the Motor City, Stackhouse joined the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team he is most remembered for having played with. Ron spent 9 years patrolling the blueline for the Penguins. During that time he became one of the league’s more adept offensive defenseman. In 1974-75, Stackhouse lit the lamp a career best 15 times and registered 60 points. The following season he tallied a career best 60 assists en route to a 71-point campaign, also a career high for this blueliner. Stackhouse represented the Penguins in the NHL All Star game in Detroit in 1980.

This Koho stick has the player name “Stackhouse” stamped on the side. The player number “3” is written in black marker below the blade tape. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
