Roman Cechmanek Philadelphia Flyers Louisville Game Used Stick – Autographed – Flyers Wives Letter
Lot #787
This Louisville TPS hockey stick was game used by Roman Cechmanek while playing for the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2001-02 season. Cechmanek was drafted by the Flyers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft after playing many seasons in the Czech Elite league. He started the 2000-01 season with the Flyers and took the starting goaltending job away from Brian Boucher. He finished the season with 35 Wins and was 2nd in the voting for the Vezina trophy. Cechmanek would play 2 more seasons in Philadelphia, winning 30+ games again in 2002-03, and sharing the William M. Jennings trophy with Martin Brodeur, before an off-season trade sent him to the Kings. The 2003-04 season would be his last in the NHL as he went back to Europe to continue his career. In 212 career NHL games, Cechmanek won 110 times and had a career GAA of 2.08.

This Louisville goalie stick has the player name “Cechmanek” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Roman has autographed the paddle. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. This stick will be accompanied by a Flyers Wives Fight for Lives letter.
