Rogie Vachon Boston Bruins Victoriaville Game Used Stick Autographed
Lot #450

This Victoriaville Pro Vic 1000 hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Rogie Vachon while playing for the Boston Bruins. Vachon began his career in 1966-67 with the Montreal Canadiens. After 5 years in Montreal Rogie was dealt to the Los Angeles Kings. Vachon tended goal for the Kings for 7 years before 2 season stints in Detroit and Boston. This standout goalie retired with an impressive 355 Wins and a 2.99 GAA. He was the man in the pipes for Team Canada when, in heroic fashion, they were victorious in the 1976 Canada Cup. Rogie won 6 games and lost only 1 while posting a 1.39 GAA during that important international series while earning All Star status. To his credit is a Vezina Trophy as the leagues best goaltender, two 2nd Team NHL All Star selections and 3 NHL All Star game appearances. In 1985, shortly after his retirement, the Kings honored Rogie by retiring his number. Rogie was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the class of 2106.

This Victoriaville stick has the player name “Vachon” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. There is additional taped added to the paddle so Rogie could add a personalized autograph. The stick is uncracked and in very nice condition.
