Description
Rob Ray Buffalo Sabres CCM Game Worn Pants – Photo Match
Lot #590

These blue hockey pants by CCM were game worn by tough guy Rob Ray while playing for the Buffalo Sabres. The Buffalo Sabres selected Ray in the 5th round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. Rob spent the first 13 years of a 15-year NHL career as a member of the Sabres. Ray is one of hockey’s all-time leaders in PIMS having amassed in excess of 3200, including 2-times eclipsing the 350 PIM mark in a single season! Fight fans could fill volumes of Ray’s fights alone. In 1999, Rob won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, awarded to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community.

These blue CCM pants have the player number “32” written in silver sharpie on the inside thigh pad. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Ray wearing these exact pants during the 1991-92 season. The pants show great game use.
