Rick Nash New York Rangers White Bauer Game Worn Helmet – Oakley Faceshield – “Garden of Dreams” - Team Letter
Lot #417

This white hockey helmet by Bauer was game worn by Rick Nash while playing for the New York Rangers during the 2014-15 NHL season. The Columbus Blue Jackets selected Nash with the 1st overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. In only his 2nd year, Nash exploded for a 41-goal outburst that was good enough to capture the 2003-04 Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the leagues top goal scorer. He was a member of the 2003 All-Rookie Team and played in 6 NHL All Star games. After 9 seasons in Columbus, Nash joined the New York Rangers where he would play out his career, with the exception of 11 Games with the Bruins in 2017-18. On January 11, 2019, Nash announced his retirement due to post concussion syndrome.

On the international scene, Nash represented Team Canada in numerous World Championships and 3 Olympics, winning Gold Medals in 2010 and 2014. Nash finished his career with 437 Goals in 1060 Games Played.

This white Bauer helmet has the player number “61” on the front and back. Also on back, opposite of the NHL shield, is the Garden of Dreams sticker. The “NYR” sticker is on both sides. The Oakley faceshield is perfectly in place. This helmet will be accompanied by a Rangers team letter.
