Real Lemieux played 8 seasons in the NHL for the Red Wings, Kings, Rangers and Sabres with most of his 483 games played being with the Kings. He retired after the 1973-74 season. Soon after he retired, Real developed a blod clot in his brain. Lemieux died on October 24, 1975 at the age of 30.
