Description
Randy McKay New Jersey Devils Black Bauer Practice Worn Helmet Team Letter
Lot #405

This black hockey helmet by Bauer was worn by Randy McKay during practice while playing for the New Jersey Devils. McKay was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. After playing only 3 games for the Red Wings in 1988-89, McKay was in the NHL to stay starting the 1989-90 season. After 2 seasons in Detroit, McKay was sent to the New Jersey Devils by rule of an arbitrator as compensation for the Wings signing free agent Troy Crowder. McKay played 11 seasons in New Jersey, becoming an important part of a team that won the 2000 Stanley Cup. Randy finished his career with single seasons in Dallas and Montreal.

This black Bauer helmet has the player number “21” written inside in black marker. All stickers were either removed or were never applied. The helmet will be accompanied by a Devils team letter.
