Description
Pierre Turgeon St. Louis Blues CCM Game Worn Helmet
Lot #460
This white hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by future Hall of Famer Pierre Turgeon while playing for the St. Louis Blues. This 19-year veteran was the 1st overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1987 NHL entry draft. He played for 5 seasons in Buffalo, before being dealt to the New York Islanders in a deal for Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine. Pierre spent 4 years on the Island, before moving about to Montreal where he would serve as Captain, St. Louis, Dallas and Colorado. In nearly 1300 games played, Pierre tabbed 515 goals and 1327 points. He won the 1992-93 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy awarded to the player who best exhibited sportsmanship and high ability. Having achieved the 500-goal plateau and averaging better than a point per game during his career, this 4-time NHL All Star will undoubtedly land in the Hall of Fame in the near future.

This white CCM helmet has the player number “77” on the back. The Blues logo is on both sides while the Xcel faceshield still resides on the front.
