Pierre Turgeon New York Islanders Victoriaville Game Used Stick - Autographed
Lot #762

This Victoriaville Ultra Vic 4050 hockey stick was game used by 500-goal scored Pierre Turgeon while playing for the New York Islanders. This 19-year veteran was the 1st overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1987 NHL entry draft. He played for 5 seasons in Buffalo before being sent to the New York Islanders in a deal for Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine. Pierre spent 4 years on the Island before moving about to Montreal where he would serve as Captain, St. Louis, Dallas and Colorado. In nearly 1300 games played, Pierre tabbed 515 goals and 1327 points. He won the 1992-93 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy awarded to the player who best exhibited sportsmanship and high ability. Having achieved the 500-goal plateau and averaging better than a point per game during his career, will undoubtedly land Pierre in the Hall of Fame in the near future.

This Victoriaville Ultra Vic 4050 hockey stick has the player name “P. Turgeon” on the side.  The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade.  Pierre has personally signed the stick on the side.
