Pierre Larouche Koho Game Used Stick Autographed
Lot #667

This Koho 2210 Pro Fibre hockey stick was game used by Pierre Larouche. Larouche was an enormous talent who was drafted 8th overall in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. During his 4th season in Pittsburgh, Pierre was dealt to the Montreal Canadiens where he won the Stanley Cup in his first two years with his new club. Pierre would spend parts of 5 years with Les Habitants before a trade took him to Hartford midway thru the 1981-82 season. After two seasons with the Whale, Larouche joined the New York Rangers and remained for 5 years before announcing his retirement. All told Larouche spent 14 seasons in the NHL, where he averaged better than 1-point per game with 822 in an 812 game career. He scored 395 goals during that span, nearly half a goal per game, which is a standout number for those familiar with historical stats. Pierre first netted 50-goals in his 2nd NHL season, scoring 53 in 1975-76 with the Penguins. He next accomplished the feat in 1979-80 with Montreal when he lit the lamp exactly 50 times. In 1983-84, as a Ranger, Larouche scored 48 times nearly accomplishing the feat on his 3rd different team. Pierre played in 2 NHL All Star games during his career.

This Koho stick has the player name “Larouche” stamped to the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Pierre has autographed the side. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
