This B&W Easton Stealth CX hockey stick was game used by Phil Kessel while playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Boston Bruins selected Kessel with the 5th overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Minnesota, this Madison , WI native began his NHL career with the Bruins in 2006-07. It was a tumultuous rookie season as Kessel was diagnosed with and overcame Cancer while missing only a dozen games! In recognition of his efforts, Phil was awarded the Bill Masterton Trophy. After just three years in Boston, the Maple Leafs acquired Kessel and he paid immediate dividends for the club. Kessel notched four consecutive 30+ goal seasons prior to the 2012-13 shortened schedule and then scored an impressive 37 goals in 2013-14. After 6 seasons with the Maple Leafs, Kessel joined the Pittsburgh Penguins and in his first year with his new club helped lead them to the 2016 Stanley Cup on the strength of 10 goals and 22 playoff points. Kessel and the Penguins completed the rare feat of back-to-back Stanley Cup titles in 2017 as he again lit up the playoff score sheets with 23 more points. Kessel has scored better than 350 goals and 800 points thus far in his career. Phil is a 3-time NHL All Star who has been a staple on Team USA’s roster, having competed in the World Championships and two Olympics, capturing Silver in 2010. In fact, after scoring 5 goals and 8 points in 6 games, Kessel was named the top forward for the entire 2014 Olympics in Sochi!

This B&W Easton stick has the player name “P Kessel” on the side. The stick is taped on the butt, blade and completely down the shaft. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
