This black Koho Revolution hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Phil Housley while playing for the Washington Capitals. The Buffalo Sabres selected Housley with the 6th overall pick in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This native of St. Paul, MN joined the Sabres immediately thereafter and remained with the team for the first 8 years of his 21-year NHL career. Housley would go on to play for the Jets, Blues, Flames, Devils, Capitals, Blackhawks and Maple Leafs. During that time, Housley became one of the NHL’s most prolific scoring defenseman and played in 7 NHL All Star games. In 1495 career games, Housley scored 338 goals and 1232 points. Phil earned a 2nd team NHL All Star selection in 1992. On the international stage, Housley represented Team USA in 2 Canada Cups, the World Cup, numerous World Championships and the Olympics. Housley was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the class of 2015.
