This white hockey jersey was manufactured by Starter. Laus was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1989 NHL Amateur draft. After a few seasons in the IHL and ECHL, Laus was claimed by the Florida Panthers in the 1993 Expansion Draft. Paul played 8 seasons in Florida and was the last original member of the Panthers when he retired. Paul was an integral member of the 1995-96 team that trekked all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. In 1996-97, Paul set an NHL record with 39 fighting majors in 77 Games. Laus’ final season was 2001-02, when a wrist injury forced him to retire. To this day Paul is one of the most beloved Panthers players in their history.
