Patrik Sundstrom New Jersey Devils Koho Game Used Stick
Lot #478

This Koho hockey stick was game used by Patrik Sundstrom while playing for the New Jersey Devils. The Vancouver Canucks selected Sundstrom in the 9th round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. After spending several years playing in his native Sweden, Sundstrom joined the Vancouver Canucks in 1982-83, thereby beginning his NHL career. Sundstrom spent 5 seasons playing for the Canucks and in his sophomore season of 1983-84, he established a then Canucks franchise record for points in a season with 91. A trade in 1987 sent Sundstrom to the New Jersey Devils where he played for another 5 seasons before returning to Sweden. During the 1988 playoffs, Sundstrom broke Wayne Gretzky’s NHL playoff single game scoring record, since tied by Mario Lemieux, with 8 points in a game against the Capitals. Sundstrom is considered one of Sweden’s all-time greats and on the international stage he represented his country in several World Championships as well as the 1981 and 1984 Canada Cups.

This Koho stick has the player name “Sundstrom” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
