This New York Raiders advertising brochure was the first attempt by the Raiders organization to get fans in the seats, at Madison Square Garden, for the upcoming 1972-73 WHA season.  On one side in an introductory letter to fans talking about the end of the 1971-72 NHL season and the beginning of the WHA season to come.  On the other side is a form for fans to order their seats and a diagram of Madison Square Garden.  This lot also includes a 1972-73 Raiders home schedule from Passport Scotch.  Competing directly with the Rangers and Islanders, The Raiders were in existence for only the 1972-73 WHA Season, with the league taking over the franchise midway through the season.   The brochure and schedule are in very nice condition.
