This blue air-knit practice jersey by CCM was worn during New York Islanders practice sessions in the 1995-96 or 1996-97 season before being sent into retirement. The nameplate is no longer attached to the sewn-on Velcro strip that resides between the shoulders on the back, so we do not know which Islander wore this jersey.
Featuring an all-sewn-on Fisherman’s crest, the wear on this size 56 jersey consists of stick marks, board burns, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust and inner pilling. A nice piece of Islanders history.
