Original flag pennant from the 1973-74 WHA New Jersey Knights. The Knights came into existence when the New York Golden Blades were taken over by the WHA, 24 games into the 1973-74 season. The league moved the Golden Blades to New Jersey and renamed them the Knights. The Knights played only 54 games in New Jersey before moving to San Diego after the 1973-74 season. They began the 1974-75 season as the San Diego Mariners. The pennant is in nice condition with some pin holes.
