Nathan Gerbe Portland Pirates CCM Game Worn Helmet

This white hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by Nathan Gerbe while playing for the Portland Pirates in the AHL. Gerbe was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. After playing 3 years at Boston College, and scoring 5 goals in the last 2 games in leading his team to the Frozen Four Championship and being named MVP, Gerbe joined the Sabres organization in 2008-09 and played for the both the Portland Pirates in the AHL as well as a 10-game stint with the Sabres. He again shared his time in 2009-10 between Portland and Buffalo before becoming a full time Sabre in 2010-11. Gerbe has the distinction of being the NHL’s smallest player and only 5’5”.

This white CCM helmet has the player number “19” on back. The Memic sponsorship stick is on both sides. The US and Canadian Flag are on the back left opposite the AHL logo.
