Murray Bannerman Chicago Blackhawks Black Louisville Game Used Stick

This black Louisville 2625 hockey stick was game used by Murray Bannerman while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. Bannerman was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft. He began his NHL career with the Canucks in 1977-78, playing 1 period for the team. After a few seasons in the AHL, Murray joined the Blackhawks in 1980-81 as the backup to Tony Esposito. After a solid playoffs in 1982, Bannerman became the Blackhawks number 1 goalie the following season. Bannerman played in Chicago through the 1986-87 season before calling it a career. He is 5th on the all-time Blackhawks Wins list with 116, while accumulating 20 playoff Wins in 40 games played.

This black Louisville stick has the player name “Bannerman” stamped to the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. The stick does have some splitting of the paddle but is otherwise in very nice condition.
