This white hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by Miroslav Satan while playing for the New York Islanders. Satan, a 14-year NHL veteran, began his career in Edmonton where he spent 2 years before going to Buffalo where he played for the bulk of his career, 8 seasons in all. Miro spent 3 seasons skating for the New York Islanders before another with Pittsburgh and most recently Boston. Through the end of the 2009-10 season, Miroslav had 363 goals and 735 career points in 1050 games played. His career best 40-goal season came with the Sabres in the late 1990’s. He has played the last few seasons in Europe.
This white CCM helmet has the player number “81” on back. The Islanders logo is on both sides. The Itech faceshield still resides on the front.
