This blue hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by Mike York while playing for the Edmonton Oilers. The New York Rangers selected York in the 6th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. This Michigan native began his NHL career in 1999-00 with the New York Rangers after graduating from Michigan State University. Mike spent 3 seasons on Broadway before a deal sent him to Edmonton, where he played for the next couple of years. York would go on to play for the New York Islanders, the Philadelphia Flyers, The Phoenix Coyotes and the Columbus Blue Jackets before heading to Europe to further pursue his career.
This blue CCM helmet has the player number “16” on back. The Oilers name/logo is on both sides. A red, white and blue ribbon sits on the back left opposite the NHL shield.
