This gold Easton aluminum hockey stick was game used by future Hall of Famer Mike Modano at the very beginning of his illustrious career. Mike was the 1st overall selection in the 1988 NHL entry draft, going to the Minnesota North Stars. He has been the face of the Minnesota/Dallas franchise for 21 years while compiling certain Hall of Fame statistics. Thru the end of the 2009-10 season, Mike had scored 557 goals, 802 assists and 1359 points. He has played in seven NHL All Star games, was 2nd Team NHL All Star in 2000 and has represented Team USA in numerous international competitions including a Canada Cup, 2 World Cups and 3 Olympic Games. Modano is the all-time leading scorer when it comes to American born players. The mantel was finally made complete when Mike captured the Stanley Cup a decade ago in Dallas.
