This blue hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by Mikael Samuelsson while playing for the New York Rangers. Samuelsson was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. After playing a few seasons in Sweden, Samuelsson joined the Sharks for 4 games in 200-01. Mikael then played a season and a half for the Rangers, 22 games for the Pens, a year in Florida, 4 seasons with the Wings, 3 years in Vancouver, another in Florida and is playing this season back with the Wings.
This blue CCM helmet has the player number “37” on back. The “NYR” logo is on one side while the other was removed. The “Rangers Cheering Children” sticker is on the back left opposite the NHL shield. This helmet will be accompanied by a Rangers team letter.
