Description
Mikael Renberg Phoenix Coyotes White Sher-Wood Game Used Stick Autographed
Lot #535
This white Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 hockey stick was game used by “Legion of Doom” member Mikael Renberg while playing for the Phoenix Coyotes. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Renberg in the 2nd round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a handful of years playing in his native Sweden, Renberg joined the Flyers in 1993-94. He was immediately paired with phenom Eric Lindros and a 38-goal and 82-point rookie season ensued. After 4 prosperous seasons in Philadelphia that culminated in a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals, Renberg spent two years with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he served as their Team Captain. Mikael next returned to Philadelphia for a couple more seasons before a deadline deal sent him to Phoenix. Renberg’s final stop was Toronto, where he spent 3 seasons before returning to Europe where he played another handful of years in the Swedish Elite League. Renberg served as the right side of the famed Legion of Doom line, one of the decade’s best.

This white Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number “Renberg 19” stamped on the side. Mikael’s player number “20” with the Coyotes is written in black marker on the butt tape. The stick is fully taped on the butt. Some of the blade tape has been removed so Mikael could autograph it. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
