Description
Mikael Renberg Philadelphia Flyers Black Sher-Wood Game Worn Gloves
Lot #586

These black hockey gloves by Sher-Wood were game worn by Mikael Renberg while playing for the Philadelphia Flyers. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Renberg in the 2nd round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a handful of years playing in his native Sweden, Renberg joined the Flyers in 1993-94. He was immediately paired with phenom Eric Lindros and a 38-Goal and 82-Point rookie season ensued. After 4 seasons in Philadelphia, Renberg spent two years with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he served as their Team Captain. Mikael next returned to Philadelphia for a couple more seasons before a deadline deal sent him to Phoenix. Renberg’s final stop was Toronto where he spent 3 seasons before returning to Europe where he played another handful of years in the Swedish Elite League.

These black Sher-Wood gloves have the player number “19” written inside in black marker. These gloves were originally acquired directly from the Flyers back in the 1990's.
