Mid 2000ís Carey Price Tri City Americans Game Worn Jersey
Lot #144
This road blue knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Goalie Carey Price during his junior career with the Tri-City Americans. The Montreal Canadiens selected Price in the 1st round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. This Anahim Lake, BC native made his NHL debut in 2007-08 with the Canadiens going onto earn 1st Team NHL All-Rookie Team honors. Carey’s 2014-15 season was one for the ages. He was the winner of the Hart Memorial Trophy as NHL MVP, The Ted Lindsay Award as the NHL’s Most Outstanding player, 1st Team NHL All Star while also capturing the Jennings and Vezina Trophies for his goaltending excellence. This 6-time NHL All Star competed in 15 NHL seasons, all with Les Habitants before a knee injury shortened his career. Price compiled remarkable statistics, following in the long line of Canadiens all-time greats that have stood between the pipes for the fabled franchise. Price led the NHL in Wins on two occasions, won 361 career games and stands as Montreal’s all-time Wins leader. He owns a career 2.51 GAA to go along with an impressive 49 shutouts. On the international stage, Price represented Team Canada in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey and the 2014 Olympics.

The game wear on this size 58 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick, slash and puck marks, plenty of goal post paint transfer and areas of heavy pilling on the sleeves and belly. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Price’s own hand. This spectacular pre-rookie example was worn by Price during his junior days with the Tri-City Americans before embarking on his Hall of Fame goaltending career with the Montreal Canadiens.
