Description
Mid 1990's Tim Taylor Detroit Red Wings Pre-Season Game Worn Jersey
Lot #75
This white air-knit gamer by CCM and Eastside was worn by Tim Taylor circa the mid 1990’s during exhibition games. The Washington Capitals selected Taylor in the 2nd round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a handful of years in the AHL, Taylor made his NHL debut with the Detroit Red Wings in 1993-94 and scored a goal in his first NHL game. Tim spent 4 years in Hockeytown before playing 2 years for the Boston Bruins, 2 more with the New York Rangers and a final 5 seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Taylor was a 2-time Stanley Cup winner, capturing his first in 1997 with the Wings and his last with the Bolts in 2004.

The wear on this size 52 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, stitch pops, a heavily salted fight strap, pulls and heavy inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is evidence of a nameplate removal and Taylor’s name being subsequently screened on to the verso.
