Description
Michel “Bunny” Larocque Nova Scotia Voyageurs 8x10 B&W Autographed Photo – Deceased
Lot #692
This 8x10 B&W photo was personally autographed by Michel “Bunny” Larocque. Larocque was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1972 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career with the Habs in 1973-74 and spent 8 seasons with the club. After parts of 3 seasons in Toronto, Larocque played briefly for the Flyers and Blues. Bunny was part of 4 Vezina Trophy winning tandems, three shared with Ken Dryden and the fourth shared with Denis Herron and Richard Sevigny. He was a member of all four of the Canadiens Stanley Cup Championship teams in the late 1970’s. Prior to joining the Canadiens, Larocque played with the Voyageurs in 1973-73 and then played in the AHL and IHL briefly at the end of his playing career. Larocque passed away from brain cancer in 1992 at the age of 40.

Our consignor went to a hockey game every night, took many of the photos himself and had all autographs signed personally.
