Tkachuk was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1st round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. After five successful seasons in Calgary, the final of which saw Tkachuk score 42 Goals and 104 Points, Tkachuk was traded to the Florida Panthers in the summer of 2022. Matthew’s first season in Florida saw him score 40 Goals and 109 Points, a career high. Tkachuk has played in two NHL All Star games (winning the MVP in 2023 with 4 Goals and 7 Points) and was a second team NHL All Star in 2022. The future of this 25-year-old looks very bright.
