Matt Cullen New York Rangers Nike/Bauer Game Worn Helmet - Team Letter
Lot #471
This blue hockey helmet by Nike/Bauer was game worn by Matt Cullen while playing for the New York Rangers. Cullen was drafted by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2nd round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career in Anaheim in 1997-98 and played with the Mighty Ducks for 5 ½ seasons before joining the Florida Panthers in 2002-03. After another full season in Florida, Matt played a season for the Hurricanes and one for the Rangers before heading back to Carolina for 2+ seasons. A deal in 2009-10 sent him to Ottawa where he played 21 games for the Senators. In the summer of 2010, he signed a 3-year deal with the Wild and has played in Minnesota the last 2 years. Having completed 14 NHL seasons, Matt played his 1000th NHL game in 2011-12. During the 2005-06 season in Carolina, Matt captured his only Stanley Cup.

This blue Nike/Bauer helmet has the player number “5” on the back. The “Garden of Dreams” sticker sits on the back left opposite of the NHL shield. The faceshield still resides on the front. This helmet will be accompanied by a Rangers team letter.
