This white hockey helmet by Jofa was game worn by Marty McSorley while playing for the Los Angeles Kings. McSorley spent 17 seasons running rough shot over the NHL. During that time, Marty partook in 961 regular season contests that saw him amass 3381 PIMS, good for 4th best of all time. In 115 playoff contests he totaled another 374 PIMS.

During his career, McSorley went to 3 Stanley Cup Finals, all while skating alongside Wayne Gretzky. The first two were winning efforts in Edmonton, while the last was unsuccessful with the Kings in 1993. Marty’s career began in Pittsburgh and his stay there was brief, playing parts of 2 seasons before joining the Oilers in 1985-86. After 2 seasons in Edmonton Marty joined the Kings where he played for parts of the next 8 seasons. McSorley also spent time with the Penguins and Rangers before 2 years with San Jose, one with Edmonton and then a final season with the Boston Bruins before announcing his retirement. McSorley will forever be looked upon as one of the NHL’s legendary enforcers.



This white Jofa helmet has the player number “33” on the back. The Kings name is attached to both sides while the Kings logo is attached to the back on both sides. There is a faded autograph on the top.
