Description
Martin Gerber Ottawa Senators White Itech Game Worn Catcher
Lot #525

This white catcher by Itech was game worn by Martin Gerber while playing for the Ottawa Senators. The Anaheim Mighty Ducks selected Gerber in the 8th round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. This Swiss native began his NHL career with the Ducks in 2002-03 and as a rookie got a taste of the Stanley Cup Finals as he and his Ducks lost a hard-fought 7-game series to Marty Brodeur’s Devils. After a couple of seasons with the Ducks, Gerber joined the Carolina Hurricanes and again trekked to the Stanley Cup Finals in his first year with the club, walking away victorious this time and earning his only Stanley Cup Ring. Three seasons with the Ottawa Senators was followed by a partial year with the Maple Leafs in 2008-09. Since leaving the NHL, Gerber has been starring between the pipes in Europe.

This white Itech catcher has the player name “Gerber” stitched on the back. The catcher shows great game use.
