Lot of 3 Superstar Forwards Game Used Sticks - Kevin Stevens, Mike Ricci (Autographed) & Bobby Holik
Lot #754

This lot contains game used sticks of forwards Kevin Stevens, Mike Ricci and Bobby Holik.

Kevin Stevens, from Brockton Massachusetts, spent 4 years at Boston College before embarking on his NHL career, which began in Pittsburgh in 1987-88. Kevin excelled for much of his 8 years in the Steel City before an injury changed the face of his star laden career. A bad head injury during the 1993 playoffs, as the Pens were making a run at a 3rd straight Stanley Cup, left Kevin and his Penguins never quite the same. During his time in Pittsburgh he won 2 Stanley Cups, had back to back 50-goal seasons, played in 3 NHL All Star games and was 3-times a 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star at Left Wing playing alongside Mario Lemieux.

This black Koho Revolution has the player name “Stevens” on the side. The butt is fully taped while the blade tape has been removed.

The Philadelphia Flyers made Mike Ricci the 4th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Mike spent 2 years in Philly before being dealt to Quebec in the blockbuster deal that allowed the Flyers to acquire Eric Lindros. Mike spent 3 years in Quebec and then transferred to Colorado where he played for 2 more seasons before joining the San Jose Sharks. Ricci called the Shark Tank home for 7 years before a final stint in Phoenix. All told, Ricci partook in 1099 games, scored 243 goals and 605 points. Ricci was part of the 1996 Stanley Cup winning team in Colorado, where his grit played a huge role in helping the Avs past their bitter western conference rival, the Detroit Red Wings, en route to the Cup.

This black Bauer Supreme 3030 hockey stick has the player name “M. Ricci” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and the blade. The stick is also autographed on the heel.

The Hartford Whalers selected Holik with the 10th overall pick in the 1st round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. After 2 seasons in Hartford, Holik joined the New Jersey Devils organization for the 1992-93 campaign. He would find an immediate role with the franchise that saw him don their sweater for the next 10 seasons while winning two Stanley Cup titles. Holik later played for the New York Rangers for a couple of years before moving on to the Atlanta Thrashers where he played for three more seasons before returning to New Jersey for a final season. Holik was an important part of the New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup success and fit perfectly into their well-designed ‘system’.

This white Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 hockey stick has the player name “Holik” on the side.  The stick is fully taped on the butt and the blade.
