This group of four goal pucks all come from game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinal between the Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks played on May 16, 2013. With the Kings holding a 1-0 lead in games, the Kings and Sharks took the ice for game 2. After an early first period goal from Jeff Carter and early second period goal from Drew Doughty, the Sharks fired off three goals in a row, two in the 2nd period and one midway through the 3rd period to take a 3-2 lead. That lead held until the 18:17 minute mark of the 3rd period when Dustin Brown scored a power play goal to tie the game. Only 22 seconds later, at the 18:39 mark, Trevor Lewis scored the game winner on the power play as the Kings held off the Sharks to take a 2-0 lead. This King would go on to win the series 4-3 to advance to the Conference Finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.
These goal pucks were acquired directly from the Los Angeles Kings and each puck is labeled with which goal it represents “Carter 1st goal”, “Doughty 2nd goal (PP)”, “Brown 3rd goal (PP)”and “Lewis 4th goal (PP-GW)”. This lot includes all the Kings goals from that special game. This lot will be accompanied by a Kings team letters on all four pucks and Kings team letters on each puck.
