The Kopitar goal puck was from a game on October 20, 2010, against the Carolina Hurricanes. Kopitar scored this goal at 6:58 of the second period to give the Kings a 3-2 lead. After the Hurricanes tied the game, Kopitar assisted on the game winning goal at 3:19 of the third period. With his goal and assist, Kopitar was announced as the first star of the game.
The Toffoli goal puck was from a game on May 24, 2014, against the Chicago Blackhawks in game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Toffoli scored this goal at 14:19 of the second period to break a 2-2 tie, in a game in which the Kings would go on to win 4-3. The Kings went on to defeat the Blackhawks in 7 games to reach the Stanley Cup Finals against the New York Rangers. This back-and-forth series, pitting the last two Stanley Cup Champions, is considered by many to be “The Series of the Decade”. The Kings then went on to win their second Championship in three seasons by defeating the Rangers 4-1. This puck will be accompanied by a Kings team letter.
