Late 1990ís Dwayne Zinger Alaska Fairbanks Game Worn Jersey
Lot #569

This road blue knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Dwayne Zinger circa the late 1990’s during his collegiate career in the CCHA. Zinger played 4 years of college hockey for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks where he served as their team Captain. Dwayne graduated in 2000 and immediately began his professional career in the AHL with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. After a few seasons with the Ducks, Zinger joined the Washington Capitals organization and played with the Portland Pirates for a few years. During that time, he received a 7-game call up to the NHL where he suited up as a member of the Capitals. Dwayne spent 9 seasons in the AHL where he also represented the Hershey Bears, San Antonio Rampage and Providence Bruins before playing one final season in the ECHL for the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Embroidered to the right breast is the CCHA logo. The UAF patches are sewn to both shoulders. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, material pulls, inner pilling and team-sewn repair work to fix some trauma to the front hem. A beautiful Captain’s jersey from this former NHL and AHL tough guy.
